Commissioned by Jurat\u00e9 Tutlyte and curated by architect Gintaras Bal\u010dytis, the exhibition invites architects, students, communities, and visitors to reflect on the deep connections between architecture and the urban environment.<\/p>\n
\u00a0It positions the discipline as an interpretative tool that reveals the layered relationships shaping our cities\u2014relationships that, in turn, reflect these dynamic interactions.<\/p>\n
\u00a0The proposal evokes an urban memory rooted in landscapes once filled with fields and trees, introducing the dimension of time into discussions about urban ecosystems, sustainability, and resilience.<\/p>\n
\u00a0The vision of this exhibition is based on the observation that, within a geologically brief span of time, built neighborhoods can be radically transformed in an effort to compensate for the fact that their development often came at the expense of centuries-old trees that had stood for generations.<\/p>\n
\u00a0The removal of these trees erased not only natural elements but also historical and collective memory, weakening the very identity of the place.<\/p>\n
