Arborescenza Segreta

Arborescenza Segreta

06.12 2024 – 12.01 2025

This exhibition takes its title from an unpublished installation designed specifically for Palazzo Contarini del Bovolo and its Sala del Tintoretto.
Specifically, this site-specific intervention is characterized by white wooden sculptures with sinuous gold-colored edges, two large mirrored photos and neon lights distributed on the floor. The effect of the light reflected on the statues and on the gold that also characterizes the two photographs contributes to creating a perceptive transformation of the space, creating a sensation of immaterial ground.

Zaza’s idea is to obtain a ramification of plastic-visual elements that moves away from a schematic setting to completely irradiate the space and also enter into synergy with the work of Tintoretto. Michele, in fact, invents an imaginative place that seems to propose a sort of “earthly paradise”.

The exhibition also presents some photographic works created in 2023 and 2024 and related to the site-specific installation.
This creates a complex exhibition path that reaffirms the artist’s continuous imagination also through the photographic medium.

The exhibition will be open until January 12, 2025 following the opening hours of the Scala Contarini del Bovolo.

Opening hours:

Monday – Sunday: 09:30 A.M. – 5 P.M.
