It Takes an Island to Feel this Good

In the modern atrium of Complesso dell’Ospedaletto, Darja Bajagić represents the Montenegro Pavilion. Hes works offer a reflection on the relationship that human race establishes with the shared collective heritage. In particular, Darja reflects on these issues by focusing on the complex history of the Montenegrin island of Mamula. The artist uses the material collected at the island’s state archives as a starting point for the creation of his pictorial and sculptural compositions.
